the lioness looked down, she was full of sorrow
words had been invented to communicate
but it was because of words that she got
misunderstood and now she was hurt
her tremendous roar in the night woke up the sleeping beasts
they stared around frightened and got closer one to the other
it was a bewildering howl that shook her entire body
made the earth tremble and slashed the air trees violently shook
the resounding echo that bounced back her despair
made her startle she lifted her head in proud defiance
against the deafening sound against her uncontainable pain
opened wide her mouth and roared a second never-ending time
the entire jungle shivered at the touch of her broken heart
no one dared to move it pierced their skins it went through
their skulls it strangled their throats reawakening in them the
terror of the sight of their own blood
